LOCATION

Bariloche city is one of the most important tourist destinations in the country and the world, is located in the northwestern region of Patagonia, surrounded by a national park on the South coast of Lake Nahuel Huapi and along the Andes mountain range.

San Carlos de Bariloche belongs to the Río Negro province and 1630 km of the city of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina.   

Climate

The area where San Carlos de Bariloche is located has a mountainous temperate climate. The temperature is usually very variable regardless of seasons. Something to keep in mind is the records between night and day; at these latitudes the difference between maximum and minimum is usually extensive. The nights are cold, and during the day maintain a temperature ranging from 7 ° C to 20 ° C.  

Gastronomy

There are over 200 settlements between restaurants, grills, pubs, tearooms and tea house offering Patagonian dishes, trout, wild boar, deer, curanto, kitchen international and the traditional Argentine Grill.  

Some of the most attractive tourist rides in the area are: Cerro Catedral is the most important ski centre of South America.  During the winter season, offers a wide and varied ski and snowboard services as well as snow enjoyment and fantastic scenery. Modern lifts allow the access at any time. Accommodation, gastronomy and a variety of shops satisfy the tastes and needs of the many skiers and tourists from different countries of the world.

Seven Lakes: the tour includes a wide range of landscapes to enjoy. The pathway to San Martín de los Andes,  in a wooded road crossing rivers, streams and several lakes (Nahuel Huapi, Correntoso, Mirror, Escondido, Villarino, Falkner and Machónico) with some beaches and various sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. Embracing Lake Lacar, you reach San Martín de los Andes where you can have lunch and get to know the city.

Cerro Tronador and cascade Los Alerces: this tour shows one of the most beautiful areas of Nahuel Huapi National Park: forests, lakes, beaches, mountains and waterfalls. Also displays the highest Hill of the area, Tronador, 3.478 MSL, a natural border between Argentina and Chile.

THE HOTEL

Located on one of the lower mountains within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, surrounded by the Cerro Lopez and Tronador Mountain peaks an the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi Lakes, the Hotel has a 15-hectare park, including the 18-hole golf course, the marina, beach, solarium, heated indoor and outdoor vanishing edge swimming-pools, Spa and Healthclub with sauna, fitness center and other leisure activities.

The Hotel has two wings: Bustillo and Lago Moreno wings, The first wing has 162 rooms, 11 studios and 12 suites overlooking the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes and the Cerro López mountain peak. The Lago Moreno wing has 43 deluxe studios and suites.
